Lee Wallis

Director/ Chartered Financial Planner

Lee is a Director at Character Financial Services, Chartered Financial Planner and Pension Transfer Specialist. With over 40 years of experience in the sector, Lee has built up an extensive technical knowledge of the industry and uses this, along with a meticulous approach in order to find the right solutions for clients, both individual and business.

Away from the office, Lee is married to Julie and has 3 children and 4 grandchildren. When work and family allows some free time, Lee is a keen golfer and has been a lifelong fan of Crystal Palace FC, whilst also being heavily involved in Sutton United FC for a number of decades from player to director and many roles in between.

Paul Blakeney

Director/ Chartered Financial Planner

Paul is a Director at Character Financial Services, Chartered Financial Planner and Pension Transfer Specialist. Paul takes great care in providing expert independent and impartial advice to his clients across all areas of financial services. Paul has continued to invest in his own personal development and training and is expected to be awarded the Fellowship, CII's most decorated qualification, in late 2023.

Away from the office, Paul is married to Davina who he shares two young children, Sophie and Rosie. Against his better nature, Paul continues to support Crystal Palace FC where he has a season ticket. Paul is a keen (but not a very successful) golfer, likes running and racquetball.

Richard Capon

Paraplanner

Richard is a Paraplanner at Character Financial Services and has obtained his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. He is currently progressing toward becoming an Adviser while continuing his studies to qualify as a Chartered Financial Planner with the CII. His journey in financial services began in 2010 at a private bank, and since then, he has worked for wealth and asset managers. Richard takes pleasure in researching investment opportunities and new products, aiming to ensure that Character provides the best possible advice to our clients.

 

Outside of work, Richard enthusiastically follows Formula 1 and American Football. He has developed a passion for cooking and enjoys traveling to explore new places.
